Before entering into the institution of marriage, Nigerian actor Uche Maduagwu has urged women to prefer money before love or passion.
It is better for a lady to cry in a Rolls Royce than on a danfo bus, according to the outspoken actor and self-described gay (or trotro as we say in Ghana).
To put it another way, Uche is simply stating that it is preferable to end up with a wealthy man who may mistreat you than to be impoverished with a pauper.
Uche is indirectly reminding women that money dominates in today’s society, therefore they should prioritize it over all other considerations while relegating love and its associated feelings to the background.
