Ghanaian gospel musician, Empress Gifty, recently shared her preference for performing shows abroad rather than in Ghana.
During her appearance on the United Showbiz show hosted by MzGee, she explained that the financial rewards she receives from international shows far surpass those from local events.
Gifty revealed that the money she earns from performing at funerals, weddings, and other occasions in Ghana is considerably less compared to her average earnings abroad. Additionally,
Gifty emphasized that she is the only Gospel artist in Ghana who invests a significant amount of money in her craft. As a solo artist without a producer or manager, she handles all aspects of her work herself.
Gifty further mentioned that when producing music videos, she spends a substantial amount on locations, costumes, props, and set design to ensure the best possible results.
