Oboy Siki, a Kumawood actor, has become a controversial character as a result of various strange statements he has made in the media.
In a new interview submission, the legendary actor claimed to be the first person in Ghana to launch the concept of tea with bread and eggs.
According to him, he established the company in Ghana in 1967 after learning about it in the Ivory Coast and realizing it was profitable for those involved in it in that nation.
“I discovered the tea and bread business in Ivory Coast, and I introduced that idea to Ghana in 1967 as my business to generate money when I returned from Ivory Coast,” he explained.
“When I went to Ivory Coast, I learned a lot of things, but I became addicted to drinking tea, so I decided to learn it thoroughly in order to start a tea business in Ghana.”
“I rebranded my tea company and became a successful tea business owner in Ghana with so many branches because my tea was delicious,” he explained.
“There were two kinds of tea in Ivory Coast. “One is tea with bread and meat, and the other is tea with bread and egg, so I came to Ghana quickly to introduce tea with bread and egg,” Oboy Siki boasted.
“I trained many Ghanaians, and they started tea businesses as well, but because they didn’t have a passion for the business, their businesses failed from 1967 to today, whereas my tea business is still thriving because it has become a family business.”
“In the 1980s, I was elected National President of the Tea Business Association in Ghana because they recognized my success as a tea business owner, but now I’m the founder of the Tea Business Association in Ghana.” I can go to any tea company owner who is a member of the association for free tea in any region I travel to now because they all know I’m their founder.”
“I can’t go a day without tea because I’ve become addicted to drinking it.” I can drink tea three times a day. “I can’t sleep if I don’t have tea that day, even if I eat heavy foods like Fufu, Banku, and others,” he admitted.
