I’m disappointed in Nana Addo for stopping road tolls – Kwabena Kwabene fumes
Kwabena Kwabena, a well-known Ghanaian highlife singer, and prolific songwriter, has expressed his dissatisfaction with the government’s decision to abolish road tolls.
The Highlife singer expressed his displeasure with the elimination of road tolls, which has now been replaced with momo tax, in an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM.
Kwabena Kwabena also wanted to know what was done with the money that had been collected over the years.
According to him, the Tema motorway is supposed to be in the best possible condition, citing the amount of money received on each blessed day as evidence of this assertion.
Motorists on tolled roads across the country will no longer be required to pay tolls immediately after the Budget is approved, according to the government.
This was revealed by the Finance Minister during the presentation of the 2022 budget on the floor of Parliament on Wednesday.
