“I’m afraid to venture into politics” – Okyeame Kwame Reveals

Popular Ghanaian rapper Okyeame Kwame has disclosed that he is afraid to enter into politics as it is the last thing he will think of doing.

The rap doctor made this know as he was speaking in an interview on GBC when he was asked if he will test in parliamentary in the next future.

According to Okyeame Kwame, he does not have the courage for the insults and calling of names in politics and one thing he fears is delegates, hence he will never venture into politics.

He stated;

The truth is that this year if not for the coronavirus pandemic I would have been doing my doctorate degree because I had a scholarship. My main plan is that when I graduate, I would help out in the area of education, music, technology and entertainment.

“This is to help the young ones to use pictures and sounds to learn better. I know for a fact that my impact will be greater if I’m into politics but as I speak, I don’t think I have the attitude to become a politician.  I don’t have that strength and I fear delegates, backbiting and name-calling.

Okyeame Kwame added;

Maybe after four years when I’m done with my PhD, I would have gathered more experience and would have understood things more. But right now, as I speak with you, I’m afraid to venture into politics”.
