Berlinda Adardey aka Berla Mundi, a Tv3 anchor, asked her Twitter followers earlier today if a wife would still have to cook meals for her husband after arriving home from work at 7 p.m.
It is a post that is gotten both positive and negative feedback.
Marital responsibilities and duties are still a contentious topic in Africa, and Berla Mundi’s bringing it up would almost certainly have elicited a negative reaction from some of her fans.
In reaction to the above post, a follower identified as Kwame Elvis came down hard on Berla Mundi, claiming that married women make compromises that Berla may not be aware of becuase she is 30 and not married, at which point reality will allegedly dawn on her.
Berla Mundi retweeted this response, stating that she is 30 years old, unmarried, and has never died.
She went on to say that she still has a lot to learn and that she would have failed in marriage if she had entered it too soon.
