If my father knew I was gay, he would have slit my throat – Edward Enninful reveals in new video

During an interview with The Life of a CEO on YouTube, Edward Enninful shared his experience of coming to terms with his sexuality and how it affected his relationship with his father.

He revealed that he knew he was gay from a young age, but feared his father’s reaction, as he often made homophobic comments and threats.

Despite this, Enninful’s father’s contradictory attitudes towards homosexuality were evident when his openly gay cousin, Michael, was living with them at the time. This created a complex and conflicting atmosphere within their family dynamics.

“I knew I was gay from when I was young, and if my dad would have known, he would have slit my throat,” he revealed.
