Sandra Ababio, the ex girlfriend of comedic Kumawood actor Lilwin, has reacted to the actor’s marriage to his US-based girlfriend.
The news of Lilwin’s marriage made the rounds on social media a few weeks ago, causing quite a commotion. According to rumours, the star married his American lover in a secret ceremony.
Sandra Ababio, a Kumawood actress, was said to be dating actor Lilwin. The two have been seen together in a compromising manner on multiple occasions, confirming many people’s assumptions.
Lilwin, on the other hand, stepped out to refute claims that he was dating Sandra Ababio. They are merely good buddies, he revealed.
Sandra told Graphic Showbiz that she is tired of explaining to people that she and Lilwin have never dated and have no sexual ties. Sandra reacted to his marriage by saying,
“I am not dating Lilwin and I have never dated him, congratulations to him, he just got married to his long-time girlfriend in the US and she is beautiful. May God bless their union and I wish them the very best,” she said.
In terms of how the rumors propagates, she said
Sandra said “Well, I was new in Kumasi and he was more than a friend to me. He showed me around Kumasi.
“In fact, he was the one who took me to Kumasi and we did everything together like go on set together, among others, so that probably sparked the rumours.
“You know, we live in a society where a man cannot be just mere good friends with a woman so when they saw us together most of the time, they concluded there was something going on between us, we are just good friends,” she added.
