“I will not sign any young artist again”- Sarkodie reveals (video)
Sarkodie, a Ghanaian rapper, has made it plain that he intends to engage with emerging artists through his record company, SarkCess Music.
Sarkodie says he has no ambitions to train new artists under his sole supervision anytime soon, especially after failing to do so with rapper Strongman and singer Akwaboah after a few years.
Instead, the ‘No Fugazy’ rapper stated that he would like to use his knowledge and clout to assist up-and-coming musicians in realizing their full potential and achieving success in the entertainment industry.
Sarkodie revealed this during a recent Twitter Space encounter with his fans, who participated in a rare Q&A session facilitated by Twitter influencer KalyJay.
He stated that the current status of the entertainment industry in Africa makes it tough to flourish as an artiste developing other talents while revealing his plans for the country’s future generation of performers.
For the time being, Sarkodie should avoid attempting to sign anyone and instead focus on cooperating with them on projects to give them the exposure they need.
