Ghanaian musician Kofi Kinaata, has reacted to allegations that he cannot express himself in English very well.
Many people claim Kinaata is not fluent in the Queen’s language that is why he always sings in twi.
Kinaata responding to this allegation in an interview, revealed that he can speak English very well but is not ready to sing in a language that is not his mother tongue.
He asked the host if Michael Jackson ever sung in Fanti, if not, why should he also sing in English.
“why should I sing in a language that is not mine, did Michael Jackson ever sing in Fante?” He asked Abeiku santana.
