I went to the beach and did not vote in the 2020 election – Former EC Boss, Charlotte Osei reveals

Former EC Boss, Charlotte Osei, has revealed that she did not vote during the 2020 general elections as she claims she was at the beach chilling.

“I was at the beach [on the 7th, 8th, and 9th of December 2020]. I didn’t vote, I didn’t monitor the elections. Why should I?” She said. 

Madam Charlotte Osei claimed that she was not hired to watch the polls and instead decided to spend time at the beach with her children.

She made these remarks while appearing on Joy News on Wednesday, August 18 about some of the electoral changes proposed by the current elections management body leadership.

She added that any adjustments or policies that attempt to broaden the area of inclusion should be welcomed by all Ghanaians, referring to the current election commission’s reforms.
