Ghanaian actor Prince David Osei has dissociated himself from the administration of President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo and his cabinet.
The Ghanaian actor was a strong supporter of Nana Addo, the country’s presidential candidate in 2016. Together with a small group of other famous people, David used his influence to help the New Patriotic Party win the election.
fast forward to this day owing to the economic crisis the country is facing, the Actor has voiced his displeasure with government’s apparent incapability. David posted an extended Instagram post on the president’s inaction in the face of a dramatic rise in food prices.
He posted a screenshot of a story with the following headline: “World Bank: Ghana Ranks 1st with highest food price increases of 122% in Sub-Saharan Africa.”
Sharing the above post, he also had a lot to say. part of his lenghty note read: “…But looks like you and your ministers are determined to inflict untoward hardship to the citizenry. I decided to give you and your government the benefit of the doubt, I reckon I was wrong!”
