Wanjiku’s affections for her son are unaffected by the fact that she gave birth to her one-year-old kid via ràpe.
Despite spending most of her youth in a foster home with her aunt, she claims to have been raised by a single mother.
She was approached by a man who wanted her to marry him as soon as she finished high school. She agreed to accept his proposal as well as her future marriage to him.
Her partner began abusing her on a daily basis after only a few months of living together, and she finally left him. She put up with her husband’s abuse because she really cared for him.
Their marriage was ended due to her husband’s attack on her with an ironing sheet, which made her unconscious. As a result, she decided to get divorced from him.
Wanjiku began visiting the church in response to her challenges, and it was there that she met the pastor who finally employed her.
Because he was her sole hope of finding a job at the moment, she decided to meet him one day. It had already taken a turn for the worst. The pastor assaulted and raped her before chasing her away.
She alleges that the pastor advised her to terminate the pregnancy since he wasn’t ready to be a parent yet because he was still working.
Wanjiku took on the task of caring for her son from the moment he was born until now when she was laid off and the youngster began to enquire about his father’s disappearance.
His father barred her from accessing all of his social media accounts when she sought to contact him for the first time through them.
She is also pleading with well-wishers to aid her in finding work so that she can support her son.
