“I was Invited From Kumasi To Perform In Tema, and was paid just Ghc 15” – Gospel singer Moses OK reveals.

Moses Osei Kwarteng, also known as Moses OK, a veteran gospel singer, has shared light on some of the struggles he endured in his early days of ministry.

The ‘Kakra Kakra’ hitmaker described in an interview a terrible incident in which a pastor gave him GHC15 after traveling from Kumasi to play in Tema.

Speaking with Adom FM’s Work and Happiness program, Moses OK. said that the gospel sector was not profitable at his heyday.

“Those times someone can invite you to a program and give you 50 Cedis for transport. I remember doing a show in Tema. The person invited me from Kumasi. I came with a STU bus. At that time, the transport wasn’t too expensive.

After the program the man gave me 15 Cedis. I got sick in the car because the way I was ministering… Some people threw money on me, but they took all of it, we had issues like that, lots of them,” he said.
