“I was forced to put my son’s dead body in the trunk of my car”- Gospel musician MOG

Nana Yaw Boakye, a Ghanaian gospel artist better known by his stage name MOG Music, has described how he was compelled to place his son’s lifeless body inside the trunk of his car.

MOG revealed that he lost his son when he was seven months old during.


When discussing his wife’s struggle and having to transport his son’s lifeless body to the hospital after he died, MOG cried.

MOG Music, who was visibly upset as he was being interviewed, talked about how his wife had to go through pain and trouble before she could have their baby. Seven months later, they lost him.

The hospital told MOG and his wife that there was no mortuary at their facility, so he was forced to place his son’s lifeless body in his car truck.

“One of the doctors came and this is what he said, ‘Mr. Boakye unfortunately, we apologize for what has happened, it wasn’t our fault. The hospital didn’t have a mortuary, and they don’t have a place to get rid of the dead body so we would have to take the baby in a box to a cemetery and get rid of the body ourselves, ” he narrated.
