Nana Ama McBrown, an actress, says she wants her daughter to be like Nana Aba Anamoah and has entrusted her 2-year-old daughter, Baby Maxin, to the broadcast journalist to tutor her in English.
Nana Aba is a well-known Ghanaian media personality who is fluent in the Queen’s language. She isn’t afraid to flaunt her verbal communication skills in public.
With her significant media expertise, the award-winning broadcaster has a great track record of mentoring various public speakers and media celebrities, including Serwaa Amihere, her goddaughter.
McBrown made the request on Wednesday, November 24, as a guest on StarrChart, a radio show hosted by Nana Aba, after the presenter welcomed her with a dramatic introduction.
McBrown, who was taken aback by Nana Aba’s eloquence, stated:
Can someone find me an English word? Nana Aba, you have to help me bring Maxin up so Maxin can speak like you speak…Better than you,”
In response to her request, Nana Aba stated that she is ever ready to mentor baby Maxine. She said: ‘Of course, absolutely, she’ll speak better.”
