“I use to earn 80 cedis a month as a teacher, but now I earn 10,000 cedis monthly from Tiktok”- Asantewaa

According to a recent interview with Ghanaian TikTok star, Martina Dwamena Asantewaa, who disclosed how she began her career as a teacher and made just 80 cedis a month,

Martina said in an interview that she had to stay at home for three years after high school owing to financial constraints, and one of the occupations she took up was teaching. The first school where she worked paid her GH80 per month, according to her.

However, as time went on, she received an offer from a new school that nearly doubled her prior pay to GH150.

She was able to apply to nursing school after saving up money and receiving assistance from her ex-boyfriend and other kindhearted individuals. She was accepted and is now a trained nurse.

Afterward, she joined TikTok and now makes roughly 10,000 cedis per month.
