I struggled academically – Young Actress Spendilove Opens Up On Challenges Combining Fame And Education

Spendilove Acheampong became famous at the young age of 9 when she started acting. However, being in the limelight almost made her forget about her academic goals.

In an interview with Adom TV’s The Journey, Spendilove talked about the challenges she faced in balancing her career and education.

Spendilove’s father was not happy about her pursuing acting because she was not doing well in school. He thought that acting would only distract her further. However, her mother supported her dreams. Spendilove was confident in her talent, but as she grew older, she realized her father’s concerns were valid.

Spendilove admitted that being an actress was not easy. She often missed school and fell behind in her studies. When she returned to class, she found it hard to catch up. Her classmates thought she was lazy, but they didn’t know the pressure she was under. Her father would beat her for her academic failures, which made her feel even more stressed.

Despite the challenges, Spendilove didn’t give up. She worked hard and graduated from Senior High School. She plans to continue her education at the tertiary level. She learned that balancing fame and academics is not easy, but it’s possible with dedication and hard work.
