“I started playing football with Pogba, but he is far ahead now and I am still struggling”- Ebenezer Assifuah
In recent interviews, Ghanaian international football player Ebenezer Assifuah expressed his desire to compete at the greatest level throughout his career.
He claims that he is often struck with remorse and melancholy whenever he thinks about how far France midfielder Paul Pogba has progressed in football since the two of them played together at the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup.
That is to say, he feels as though he is still in his A.B.C.D. whenever he thinks back on the advancements or otherwise he has made in life or in his football career.
He continues to say that if he had been given more opportunities to play for the senior national team, he would have been able to score a substantial number of goals for the Black Stars.
Recall that Ligue 2 team Pau’s striker Ebenezer Kofi Assifuah-Inkoom is a Ghanaian professional football player.
He played with Liberty Professionals in Ghana before switching to the Swiss club Sion. Assifuah has been characterized as a powerful striker with goal-scoring potential.
Paul Labile Pogba, on the other hand, is a French professional footballer who competes for both the France national team and Serie A club Juventus. In addition to playing as a deep-lying playmaker and attacking midfielder, he can also play as a left winger, defensive midfielder, and central midfielder.
