“I spent all my money on this girl only for her to send me wedding invitation with another man”- Ernest Opoku cries.

Controversial  Ernest Opoku, a gospel artist, has revealed a shocking account of his youthful love life.

The well-known gospel singer claimed that in his early years, he developed feelings for a girl he met at church and made all the necessary arrangements to marry her. He reportedly paid for the girl’s education, gave her expensive gifts, and took good care of her parents in an effort to marry her in the future.

But his hopes were dashed when his fiancée disclosed she was engaged to another guy after all the money had been spent. Ernest Opoku claimed she gave him an invitation to her wedding, which only served to make matters worse. He was hurt, but he made the decision to go see for himself.

The gospel artist recalled that on the fateful day, he arrived at the location in the Ashanti district of Ejisu very early to get a seat that would give him a good view of the bride and groom.

Ernest explained to Emelia Brobbey, the host of Adom TV’s Okukuseku programme, that he wanted to examine the groom to determine if he was really more deserving than he was.

“Up until the presiding clergyman said you may kiss your bride,” he complained, “I was really composed and peaceful.”

As he saw his dear ex-girlfriend sharing a kiss with her husband at that same moment, Ernest claimed his heart began to beat quickly and tears began to fall from his eyes.

Afterwards, he understood that he had chosen the “wrong investment.” After experiencing his first breakup, Ernest Opoku claimed he vowed never to fall in love with the wrong person again.
