Jane Awindor popularly known as Efya is one of the best vocalists we have in Ghana right now and it will interest you to know that she never had any plans of becoming a musician when she was little.
According to her in an interview with BBC pidgin, she wanted to become a movie producer like her father.
She said she wanted to be granting interviews and be behind the camera but fate landed her somewhere else when she signed u for a singing competition she had no plans of going.
She said she was picked despite not wanting to go, her mom urged her on to participate which led to the discovery of her talent.
“I wanted to be interviewing people and making the movies. I wanted to be like my dad”- she disclosed.
