“I left my work to take care of the triplets my wife gave birth to before she died”- Man shares sad story (video)
A story of a Ghanaian father who stopped working completely to care for his newly born twins (at first, triplets) when their mother passed away has been published online in an effort to promote Father’s Day, which is frequently brushed aside.
The father, Edmund Tetteh Akrofi, presented his heartbreaking story on the Joy Learning TV YouTube channel.
He said that his wife had triplets that day, but had lost one.
But his wife passed away the following day. He continued by saying that following the death of his wife, life has been difficult and that he has now taken time off from work to make sure the children are raised appropriately.
Edmund hinted that he has nannies who look after the kids, but he does not know them personally and want to be around them because they cannot be fully trusted, he tried to control his emotions as tears filled his eyes.
He claims he was told that “twins” dislike being around depressed individuals, therefore he makes an effort to maintain his composure.
He added that he had truly missed his wife.
