“I intentionally slapped Ghana Jesus, i wanted us to trend”- Salinko
Oboy Salinko, a Ghanaian actor, has spoken out about the near-brawl that occurred between him and ‘Ghana Jesus,’ also known as Mmebusem.
It all happened on a Saturday night at the national theatre during a live theatrical production in which the two were both performing.
As Easter neared, the ‘Kumawood’ all-star cast was putting up production to commemorate Jesus Christ’s agony on the cross.
According to a witness, Salinko slapped Mmebusem, causing blood to seep out of his lips, prompting the duo to engage in a fistfight in front of the audience.
In an interview with Zion Felix, Salinko disclosed that the aim was to make the play real, therefore there was a discussion on how to utilize methods that would make the play successful.
He went on to say that his actions were taken to help the play gain traction and become a trend, and that he had no regrets.
