Davido responded on Twitter to a Ghanaian user who had suggested the Nigerian singer was responsible for the death of his son, Ifeanyi.
In October 2022, the DMW chief and his wife, Chioma, lost their 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi, to the icy grip of death.
Following the tragic tragedy, many people flocked to social media to express their condolences to the musician and his wife for their son’s loss, while others blamed the lovebirds for his death.
However, a Ghanaian Twitter user who believes the musician is to blame for his son’s death went on to accuse the artist.
According to the Twitter user, Davido’s recklessness and carefree demeanor resulted in Ifeanyi’s death.
“Davido has always been careless and carefree,” Albert wrote. “Blame him for the sudden death of his son.”
” He could have taken precautions by being a proactive father who supervises his son’s swimming lessons thus preventing any misfortune (drowning) from happening. “
The musician, who had only recently returned to social media after the tragic occurrence, went straight to the Twitter user’s direct message to respond.
Davido, on the other hand, surprised a lot of people with his response. Instead of criticizing him for what he said, he said he would pray for him.
In his direct message to the Twitter user, the singer wrote: “Thank you. I hope what happened to me never happens to you. Amen.”
