I have stopped going to church – Quamina MP reveals

Singer Emmanuel Ato Quamina Amonoo, better known by his stage as Quamina MP, has said that he does not attend church.

The ‘Amanfour Girls’ hitmaker told award-winning radio presenter Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM that he is a devout Christian who does not joke with prayers, but that attending Sunday church is something he has removed from his schedule.

He said, “Oh I won’t lie to you it’s been a very long time since I attended a church service. I won’t deceive you I don’t even remember the last time I stepped foot in a church for a Sunday service.

But I’m someone who really trusts in God and my faith in the lord is huge and besides, I don’t joke with my prayers at all”.

The rapper made headlines lately after composing a song in memory of his late father, who died in a horrific car accident on the Accra-Akosombo route a few weeks ago.

When the accident occurred, Quamina MP was traveling with his father, but though he was only slightly injured, his father was proclaimed dead on arrival after being transported to the hospital.

The musician, who has not entirely accepted his father’s death, has written a song as a tribute to keep his memory alive in his subconscious mind.
