I have not stopped politics, I’m just on a break – Fred Nuamah says after stepping down for John Dumelo

Actor, producer, entrepreneur, and now politician, Fred Nuamah, has expressed his unwavering determination to pursue his political ambitions, despite his recent withdrawal from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Ayawaso West-Wuogon parliamentary primaries.

Nuamah clarified that his decision to step back from the forefront of political activities should not be mistaken as a complete abandonment of his political aspirations, but rather a temporary hiatus.

“While my withdrawal from the Ayawaso West-Wuogon NDC parliamentary primaries may suggest a temporary break from my political ambitions, it does not mean that I have given up on politics,” Nuamah stated. He further emphasized his willingness to serve his party in various capacities and trusted that the future would unfold accordingly.

“I am prepared to serve my party and the people of Ghana in different ways and at different levels. The future will take care of itself,” he added.

Nuamah’s announcement of his withdrawal from the NDC’s Ayawaso West-Wuogon parliamentary race came as a surprise to many, considering his enthusiastic pursuit of the seat earlier this year. However, he has extended his support to his friend who is still in the race, stating, “I believe that whatever has happened has only strengthened the bond we share. I have already reached out to my brother and offered him my endorsement and support for his candidacy.”

With his resilient spirit and commitment to his political aspirations, Fred Nuamah is poised to make a lasting impact on the political landscape of Ghana.
