Reports claim Rev. Obofour has been arrested by the Ghana Police Service for instigating violence in the Offinso Chieftaincy controversy.
According to the allegation, the man of God used social media to persuade residents of Offinso to reject Dr. KK Sarpong’s appointment as Chief of Offinso since he is from Beposo.
Rev Obofour performed a live video from his car a few hours after the report to refute it.
The story is incorrect, according to the man of God, and he has not been detained by anyone.
