Nana Appiah Mensah aka NAM1, the embattled CEO of the defunct Menzgold Ghana, has claimed he lost everything in the Menzgold incident, or at least more than everyone else.
NAM1 called himself the “biggest loser” in the saga in which he is accused of scamming over 15,000 Ghanaians.
He sought for sympathy on a Twitter page managed by Serwaa Amihere in the midst of the allegations leveled against him.
“If you want to crown the biggest loser in this whole thing, I am the one, because I lost everything: I lost all my properties, and I don’t even have a car of my own in this country.”
NAM1 is facing further criticism after launching a validation process for consumers with locked-up funds in his company and charging them GH650 for a Menzgold Traders Transactions Status Verification Access Card.
However, NAM1 reversed its requests for customers to purchase the validation card, stating that those had paid the GH650 would be reimbursed.
