I have been contributing to Mahama’s Momo Campaign every day – Chairman Wontumi reveals in new video

Benard Antwi Boasiako, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), also known as Chairman Wontumi, claims he contributes to John Dramani Mahama’s campaign on a regular basis.

He claims his donation is to assist in the provision of resources for John Dramani Mahama, whose candidacy in the 2024 election would make it easier for the NPP to break the eight-year streak.

“I’ve been contributing via the mobile money to John Mahama. I believe that he will be an easy match for us in the 2024 elections so I’m empowering him so that when he becomes the flagbearer of the NDC, we will beat him in 2024.

I know that when I send the money physically, he and his team will reject it so I’m using the mobile money platform he has created to help him raise funds to support his campaign,” Chairman Wontumi said on Wontumi Radio.

He further said that a former President like John Dramani Mahama has nothing fresh to contribute and should not be paid any attention by well-meaning Ghanaians.

In March, John Dramani Mahama developed digital channels for those who believe in his vision for Ghana to give to his campaign.

The four (4) channels available for sending donations include:
1. A John Mahama campaign mobile money number.
2. A USSD code.
3. An Official Zenith Bank account number; and
4. A John Mahama fundraising mobile App.
