‘I got pregnant at the age of 16, for 18 years now, the father of my child has not been responsible’ – Kumawood actress reveals

Ruth Akosua Antwiwaa Diamond, a Kumawood actor, has opened out about some traumatic experiences she had as a young woman.

In an interview with Ghanaian celebrity blogger Zion Felix on the “Uncut Show,” the actress made the revelations.

Ruth revealed that she became pregnant shortly after graduating from junior high school.

It happened when she was only 16 years old, and she was not even aware that she was pregnant because she was still experiencing menstrual cramps at the time of the incident.

Her mother challenged her, and they went to the doctor for a checkup, when they discovered she was 6 months pregnant, she said.

When the individual responsible for the pregnancy was confronted, he suggested that they terminate it, but Ruth refused.

Ruth vowed to keep the baby despite the fact that she was about to start senior high school.

As a result, the baby’s father opted not to look after him.

Life had become unbearable, and she had to work to care for herself and the baby with the help of her mother.

Four days after she gave birth to his son, her estranged baby daddy married another woman.
