I Fasted 42 Days And Night On My Dress – DJ Azonto Says After Wearing This To VGMA (Watch Video)
The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) took place last night and it was a night to remember. The event had people talking for different reasons, some were happy to receive awards while others were disappointed.
But one thing that always gets attention during and after the award night is fashion.
The most important part of the event is the red carpet moment when celebrities show off their outfits. They get to answer questions about who made their clothes, their expectations for the event, and much more.
One outfit that caught everyone’s attention was worn by Ghanaian DJ turned musician, Mark Kwesi Arthur, also known as DJ Azonto. He shocked Ghanaians with his choice of outfit, which included heels, a pink dress with a tail, horrid makeup, and a hideous wig.
During a chat with hosts James Gardiner and Naa Ashorkor, DJ Azonto revealed that he had a dream where God showed him this dress.
He added that he often seeks God for inspiration for occasions like this in Ghana. He even went on a 42-day and night fast before the dress was revealed to him. According to him, the dress and his looks put together were very expensive.
This wardrobe choice is not new for DJ Azonto, as he often dresses differently in female attire and accessories.
