I drink Gari soakings just like you, don’t be deceived by my photos – Vim Lady
Afia Pokuaa, a well-known journalist, has encouraged young girls who are feeling pushed by manipulated photographs of individuals on social media to take it easy on themselves because most people who publish these photos do not show off what is going on in their real life.
Her hardships, according to Afia Pokuaa, require her to drink gari soakings, eat Konkonte and light soup, and consume any other meal that the average Ghanaian eats.
Therefore, she is right that everyone who thinks she is living well because of her photos should think otherwise since she also goes through what every average human being goes through.
She shared a lovely photo on her Instagram page to warn young Ghanaian girls to stop believing she lives a flashy lifestyle in real life, adding that it is not what she truly looks like in real life.
she captioned;
“Don’t let my social media photos pressure you wai.
In my house, I eat KONKONTE and light soup( my fav), I don’t wear wigs, I wear no makeup, no bra and sometimes drink gari soaking like everyone.
Nobody calls me Vim Lady, Tweaaaa
I am AFIA, POKUA, MAA OR AUNTIE POKUA
Live your life because the same 6 FEET awaits us all.
Let’s give glory to God who does not judge according to name but his WORD and GRACE.”.
