“I don’t write my songs, the Holy Spirit writes them for me”- Obaapa Christy
Obaapa Christy, a Ghanaian gospel diva, has acknowledged for the first time that she does not write her own songs.
During an interview with Atinka TV, the “Wagye Me” singer made this stunning revelation.
She claims that she does not have a ghostwriter, as many people believe, and that she does not sample other performers’ songs.
In her own words, whenever she’s in the mood to release a new song, the Holy Spirit suddenly attends to her.
She went on to say that after the Holy Spirit has completed its job, she is guided into the studio by music producer Daniel Bassey.
