I dont regret leaving SDA church because my destiny changed after I left – Kwaku Manu
Kwaku Manu, a Kumawood actor, has said that despite being born into the Seventh Day Adventist Church, he has no regrets about quitting the church.
The actor revealed that he was a member of the church until he moved to his new church, Mama Vida, and that he fell in love with the place and has opted to remain a member ever since.
He went on to say that because of the nature of his profession, he has to be fortified both physically and spiritually and that Maa Vida’s church has done just that.
“I used to be an SDA member, but I switched to Mama Vida’s church… I stayed since it’s a suitable and conducive environment.”
“It is possible that some people will be in favor of or against my speaking.” I work as an actor. It’s a job that involves a lot of people. “You cannot stand before or lead multitudes unless your spirit is heavy and strong,” he stated.
“So, looking at my home and looking at myself—I always say my spirit speaks to me—I couldn’t have come out [of obscurity by staying there],” he concluded.
“You are aware that God can predestine you for greatness, but if caution is not exercised, human beings can suppress it.” Moses was tasked with leading the Israelites to the Promised Land, but he was unable to do it. So, you can hear God’s voice, but ask yourself if the church you’re in will get you to your destination,” Manu continued.
“The [SDA] church does not like moviemaking,” the actor claims. It’s like being a Jehovah’s Witness and aspiring to be president. How is that possible? So, if you have that vision, you must quit that congregation.”
