Veteran actress Mama Jane, who has been in the Kumawood industry for 49 years, has cried about her inability to make ends meet.

She claims that she is currently broke to the point where she has to go without food for the entire day.

“That is the reality of my life after 49 years of acting. People think I’m a celebrity, so I’m always wealthy. I’m broke as I speak to you.” Mama Jane revealed the sad news in an exclusive interview with Kingdom FM.

“Producers and directors no longer contact me. If they did, I would have received a small token in my pocket. Regrettably, they have ignored me “Mama Jane chimed in.

“I can’t seem to stop acting. I’ve been doing this since the days of Osofo Dadzie. That’s nearly 50 years. I’ll keep acting until the day I die.
