Ghanaian music star, Lasmid, recently revealed in an interview that he does not possess a certificate showing his completion of senior high school (SHS). Speaking on Accra 100.5 FM’s Ayekoo Ayekoo show, Lasmid admitted with a laugh that he did finish school, but does not have the official documentation to prove it.
He explained that his passion for music outweighed his desire for academic achievement, stating, “I only loved music and it was clear that’s what I wanted to do.”
Lasmid went on to disclose that he studied mechanical engineering in SHS, which has equipped him with impressive skills to fix car faults. However, he emphasized that he is not a professional in the field.
Despite his lack of a certificate, Lasmid expressed the possibility of returning to school in the future, but for now, his focus remains on his music career.
His latest song, titled “Bad Boy,” showcases his plea to a woman to see past his rebellious image.
