“I don’t agree with people who say I don’t deserve to win Artiste of The Year Award” – Kuami Eugene

Fast-rising high-life singer Kuami Eugene says he disagrees with people who claim he does not deserve to be nominated among VGMA Artiste of The Year category.

after the release of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards categories, Kuami Eugene was nominated among Artiste of The Year Award but people claimed he does not deserve to be nominated and win because he did nothing last year.

But the ‘Angela’ hitmaker in an interview with Doreen Avio on JOY News says he disagrees with those saying that.

Kuami Eugene said;

“I don’t agree with people who say I don’t deserve to be nominated in the Artiste of the Year category. I deserved to be nominated and I would be glad if I win it as well. Last year, I had two of the biggest songs; Obiaato and Ohemaa, and I played loads of shows”

he added;

“With all the works I did, and people still say I don’t deserve to be nominated and even win the Artiste of the Year??”
