Rocky Dawuni, a Ghanaian musician and songwriter, has come out to address the issue of people twisting his remarks, revealing how upset he is that Ghanaians promote division rather than unity.
Rocky Dawuni explained in an interview that he didn’t intend it negatively when he remarked that those who appear on a collaboration that obtains a Grammy nomination are now automatically nominated for the awards scheme themselves.
Many people twisted Dawuni’s comments and linked his statement to people appreciating Stonebwoy for featuring on his song that was nominated for a Grammy.
During an interview with Hitz Fm, Rocky stated that it is past time for Ghanaians to help promote our singers rather than trying to divide and fight one another if we are not their fans.
