“I didn’t insult Otumfour, I support him, I insulted chiefs who sold land to Galemsey operators”- Twene Jonas makes U-Turn
Twene Jonas appears to have reversed course after receiving threats and curses from the Asanteman people.
Jonas makes it clear in a new video that he supports the Asantehene’s request that chiefs under him stop selling their lands for galamsey activities.
Since he posted a video criticizing chiefs who sell their lands for galamsey activities, Jonas has received a barrage of threats, insults, and curses.
He also chastised the Asantehene for raising the issue in public but doing nothing about it privately.
His assault on Asantehene seems to have enraged Ashantis both in Ghana and abroad, who are targeting him from all sides.
He has been threatened with physical and spiritual damage, and he has been cursed by some Asante chiefs.
All of this seems to have reached Jonas, who in this video appears to move blame away from Asantehene.
