Pastor Love Hammond, the ex-husband of gospel musician Obaapa Christy, has claimed that he did not receive any type of profit for writing eight songs for Obaapa Christy.
Before Pastor Love and Obaapa Christy’s marriage began to fail, the former was writing a few songs for the latter’s ministry as a gospel singer. According to him, he did not make any money from the songs he wrote for his ex-wife as a sort of profit from those songs.
In an interview, Pastor Love remarked during an interview that even though he did not receive any profit from the popular songs that he penned for his ex-wife, he would not blame her for the way that things turned out. The interview was done by Afia Amankwah Tamakloe and shown on M’ashyase3 on Adom TV.
He explained that this was due to the fact that the music industry was not as profitable back in those days as it is now.
Obaapa Christy, formerly known as Christiana Love, is a gospel musician, and her former spouse is Pastor Love. Even though their marriage fell apart in a shambles a number of years ago, it appears that Pastor Love has not moved on from the experience.
