“I decided to stay away from Ghanaian politics because it is full of insults and disrespect” – Actor Koo Fori

veteran Ghanaian actor Seth Kwabena Kyere Karikari, widely known as Koo Fori has opened up on his reasons for staying away from politics despite the pressure from his ambition to venture into it.

speaking in an interview with Atinka FM, the 51-year-old actor stated that the insults and disrespect leveled at politicians by people who sometimes have no moral right to do so are unbearable.

“The politics practiced in Ghana is full of insults and disrespect and I do not want to get myself involved in such a thing, even though I once loved to,” said Koo Fori.

I decided to stay away from politics in order to save myself from the insults and disrespect from people who do not even have the audacity to do so but politics has given them that liberty,”

He went on to advise young people to desist from politics of insult and embrace the politics of ideas and convictions.
