“I dare Stonebwoy to come out and say the truth about my exit from his label”: OV says in new Video
Okailey Verse, commonly known in the entertainment industry, has called on her former label head, Livingstone Setakla, aka Stonebwoy, to respond to various claims regarding her departure from the firm.
OV won the popular reality TV show MTN Hitmaker in 2019, and her antics on stage landed her a contract with the Burniton Music Group immediately after her triumph. She released her smash single ‘Want Me,’ which included the reggae dancehall crooner, but their collaboration didn’t last long.
OV and her labelmate, Kelvyn Boy, were fired from their record label in the middle of 2019. Not only that but Black Sidi, Stonebwoy’s then-manager, was also dismissed from his job.
Many people were surprised by the unexpected turn of events, which sparked a flurry of speculation.
OV claimed in a recent interview with Kwaku Manu on his ‘Aggressive Show’ that Stonebwoy knows the real reason they left the label, but she doesn’t want to talk about it.
“I dare you, presenters, to ask him why we left the label and force him to tell the truth,” she said.
The ‘Zaddy’ crooner, on the other hand, disputed reports that she’s into strong drugs, stating that she’s solely in love with wine and doesn’t even smoke.
