According to well-known comedian Afia Schwar, she pleaded with EIB CEO Bola Ray for Captain Smart’s release after he stole his money.
Afia Schwar and Captain Smart got into a fight after certain Despite Media employees conspired to disparage media presenter Nana Ama McBrown after she transferred to Media General.
That angered Captain Smart, who retaliated against Afia Schwar by hurling scathing jabs at her.
By allowing themselves to be coerced into officially welcoming a new employee to the station, Afia Schwar referred to them as fools.
She also criticized the Onua TV management for pleading with her to visit and revitalize their local radio station, Onua TV/FM.
Afia Schwar claims that she was the one who pleaded with Bola Ray, the CEO of the EIB Network, when Captain Smart snatched his money in the midst of the argument.
Captain Smart allegedly accepted money from Bola Ray in exchange for him agreeing to work for his station even though he was still bound by his Multimedia contract, Afia Schwar claims.
