Ghanaian actress Martha Ankomah has made it clear that she still has a long way to go before engaging in the holy matrimony as according to her there is there need for her not to rush as marriage is a long journey.
Speaking in an interview with TV presenter Nana Adwoa Sarkodie on IG lives, the actress brought to light how Ghanaian societies are fond of putting a lot of on women to get married especially when they reach a certain age in life.
according to the actress, these pressures get women ending up with the wrong people in the long run and become discontented as they don’t take time to put things in the right order and fail to pray about their spouse.
although Martha Ankomah like any other lady faces such criticism from people for not married, she will not let their words get to her so hard consequently pressuring her to get into getting married to the wrong person (as stated by her).
“People usually say a lot of things to me with regards to marriage. But the Bible says all things work together for good to them that love God and also in His time, He makes all things beautiful,” said Martha Ankomah
“So I believe when its God’s time, I’ll get married. Delay doesn’t mean denial. God reserves the best for his children. Remember, it’s not about just getting married, what is important is to be happily married. So you don’t just marry for marrying sake”
