A Nigerian father, who tweets under the handle @revelationrabbi, has cautioned his son against ever dating or marrying a girl whose family comes from a lower socioeconomic class.
According to the controversial tweet’s author, who is thought to be doing well financially based on the tweet’s citations, the majority of women who come from disadvantaged backgrounds do not believe in love; rather, they just want to escape their unfortunate circumstances.
In addition to this, their families are placing all of their hope in them to save them from a life of abject poverty, which makes it extremely dangerous for any man to date or marries them due to the fact that they will ruin their financial situation.
He sent out tweets;
I told my son yesterday to avoid dating a girl from a poor background. In my dating experience, most of them don’t believe in love, they just want to escape their unfortunate conditions. More so, they’re the saviors their families are banking on to lift them out of poverty.
They don’t appreciate little things; they believe you can do more.
