A large number of people traveled to Kwahu in the Eastern Region to participate in the 2022 Easter Celebrations.
The annual Kwahu Easter celebrations now include paragliding, street carnivals, sightseeing, and a soccer tournament.
The Kwahus take advantage of the occasion to reconnect with their families, discuss internal family matters, have fun, and raise funds for community development.
Easter has arrived in Kwahu. The Kwahu Easter in 2022 is expected to be a huge event.
Due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, the celebration has been postponed for the past two years.
The Ghana Police Service has deployed nearly 1,000 officers to provide security for the festival, which will take place from April 14 to April 18, 2022.
‘I am glad to be in Kwahu this time,’ one partygoer said. There are a lot of nice girls. My preferences are the same. However, all of the hotels and guesthouses are fully booked. I am trying to figure out where I will be able to get my work done.’
‘I am here because of the hot chicks,’ said another. It was my first visit to Kwahu. I am having trouble finding a place to sleep. Hotels and guesthouses are charging exorbitant prices. Is it their intention for us to sleep on the street?’
