Honest Taxi Driver, Kwesi Ackon ‘Smiles’ For The First After Receiving Ghc25,000 For His Honesty (photos)
An old fishmonger left Ghc8,400 in his taxi, and Kwesi Ackon, the taxi driver returned it. He has become one of Ghana’s most beloved figures because he was honest and returned the money.
Even though he was receiving several donations and presents from individuals moved by his acts, many online commenters have wondered why Kwesi Ackon hasn’t smiled in any of the images that have surfaced online.
After waiting for a long time, Kwesi Ackon finally gave all the people who wanted to see his smile a chance as he received the Ghc25,000 raised for him by Multimedia Group’s Asempa FM.
On ‘Ekosiisen’ a sociopolitical discussion program hosted by Philip Bonsu, and his team, Ghc25,000 was raised and presented to the Taxi Driver
After the show, Alex Takyi Yeboah, the proprietor of Peduase Valley Resort, handed the money to Kwesi Ackon, the honest taxi driver.
