Here Is Why Kwaku Manu and Frank Naro were Slapped by Armed Military Men (Video)
Frank Naro, a Kumawood actor turned artiste, has described how he and his colleague, Kwaku Manu, were abused by military personnel during a trip to Kumasi.
Their crime was to cause traffic on the busy Adum road in order to interact with fans who recognized them.
Frank told Angel FM that they were on their way to a media interview when their car was stopped by some drivers and traders.
To avoid being snobbish, he claimed they parked incorrectly to have a quick chat with their fans, causing a thick gridlock.
They had unknowingly blocked a military convoy traveling the same route, forcing some military personnel to confront them.
While Kwaku Manu was attempting to explain the situation, Frank Naro described how one of the military men slapped him across the face.
Frank, on the other hand, was not exempt. He claimed he intervened to cool tempers, but he also received two slaps, prompting him to smash his head into the side window.
“It was more than war,” Frank said as he described how an enraged Kwaku Manu tried so hard to retaliate.
According to him, the force of his slap gave him a severe headache and bloodshot eyes.
