Obaapa Yaa Tiwaa, a radio and television presenter, has revealed that her husband married another woman without officially divorcing her.
Yaa Tiwaa explained that they separated due to marital problems, but her husband has refused to annul their marriage.
She stated that her husband told her pastor that he no longer has feelings for her. Furthermore, knowing that he is married, the same pastor who blessed their marriage ten years ago blessed his new marriage.
“By God’s grace, he is now married, but he is still legally my husband.” When they married, I went to the pastor and asked why he blessed the marriage despite the fact that we are not divorced. He claimed to have forgotten. “I told my lawyer about it,” she explained.
Tiwaa explained that her husband’s personality changed, and he would sometimes send her pictures of ladies and ask her to choose one for him.
“Before we divorced, we had disagreements, so we went to my pastor.” He told him in my presence that he no longer loved me. “He would frequently change the ladies on his profile picture, but what made me leave the marriage was when he sent me photos of five Legon ladies and asked me to pick one for him,” she added.
The single mother also stated that she has not seen her younger son since their divorce. He does not want the child to refer to her as mother and to refer to his new wife as mother. Tiwaa is currently caring for their older son while he looks after the younger ones.
