Grandmaster of Freemason spotted in Ghana to celebrate the Homowo Festival
The Grandmaster of a Freemasons group in the United States of America has arrived in Ghana for the Homowo festival.
McHenry, the grandmaster, arrived at Kotoka International Airport today.
He and his party were greeted by a delegation from the Sapieman Palace.
To give the grandmaster a proper welcome, a libation was poured.
The Ga people of Ghana hold an annual ceremony called Homowo to commemorate the end of the famine.
This ceremony takes place at different times in each Ga territory, ranging from July through September.
